Paper-based or electronic publications
Most of the projects are for printed publications. Through scanning / Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process, outputs are often converted to e-Books for internet consumption.
Business Transaction Documents & Statements
Archive documents include bank statements, invoices and receipts. These documents usually contain project owner’s customer account information. Original paper-based documents could include signature, company chops and hand-written information. Besides archiving, during the scanning process, keywords from the originals are saved and indexed in a database. Project owner would then be able to perform search operation later.
Newspaper
Paper-based newspapers are digitized. Scanned data are re-organized and publishable as e-paper. Throughout the process, based on project owner’s request, information of certain topic gets saved and indexed in the database. This information becomes searchable and can be used in varies channels and mediums.
Ancient text/scripture
One of the client is Beijing National Library. We help them to digitalize ancient scrolls. Process includes scanning of the originals, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and data conversion to varies document formats such as PDF, XML. Originals include both printed and handwritten materials.
Japanese
We work with Japanese customers in a number of areas:
- Mobile phone release: Black & white paper-based comic books are digitalized. The digitalized materials go through additional editing, formatting, coloring for the mobile phone publication.
- Comics: Traditional black & white paper-based comic books are digitalized and colored for re-publication.

Preserving Ancient Human History One Character at a Time
Beijing National Library contains some of the oldest and most valuable ancient scrolls.
